Virtual Cleaning and Disinfection of Viral Pathogens Awareness Training

The seminar will provide attendees with a background on viruses, how they are transmitted and what the company and the individual can do to protect against exposure when performing cleaning and disinfection.  The seminar will focus on the contents of Safetech’s Surface Cleaning and Disinfection Protocol for Viral Pathogens.  This Method of Procedure (MOP) was developed from numerous pertinent standards and guidelines provided by the restoration industry (e.g., EACO, IICRC and RIA) as well as public health and infection prevention and control professionals (e.g., WHO, CDC and Health Canada).

This course is tailored for disaster restoration, trauma clean-up, abatement, and remediation workers, property and facility managers, cleaning/janitorial contractors, in-house housekeeping, janitorial and cleaning personnel and others that may be involved with cleaning environmental surfaces as a precautionary measure or due to assumed or confirmed infections arising from an infectious disease outbreak like SARS, MERS and COVID-19.
