District Manager – Eastern Ontario Region
Reporting to the principals of SEL, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing SEL‘s district office in Eastern Ontario. This includes the overall operation and management of the district office, business development, administration, proposal generation, OH&S Technician recruitment and all aspects of hazardous building materials; mould contamination, indoor air quality, and occupational hygiene related consulting services to our client groups. The district manager role would be suitable for an individual that has been providing project management services noted below.
Typical consulting work will include conducting hazardous materials assessments, assessments of mould contamination, indoor air quality assessments for general and specific parameters, odour investigations and assessments, HVAC assessments, post-fire air quality testing, risk assessment and evaluation for a variety of workplace contaminants, mould investigations and sampling and the generation of technical reports for field investigations and sampling results.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead and supervise OH&S Technicians on typical projects noted above. In addition, as the district manager, you will be expected to have the experience to provide in-depth consulting services to our clients groups, generation of technical and fee proposals, generation of contract documents and have experience in attending meetings with client groups to affectively provide consulting services.
Qualifications and Experience
The desirable candidate will have a diploma/certificate in occupational health and safety or a bachelors degree in a related field from a recognized educational institution with a minimum of five-ten years experience providing occupational health and safety related service in the consulting industry. A desire to achieve the Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designations would be considered an asset.

Senior Project Manager – Mississauga, ON
