Our Mississauga office is currently seeking
motivated individuals to join our team and have openings for the
following positions:
Occupational
Hygienist (June 2004)
Reporting to our Senior Occupational Hygienist, the successful
candidate will be responsible for providing indoor air quality,
occupational hygiene and mould contamination related consulting
services to our client groups.
Typical consulting work will include conducting indoor air
quality assessments for general and specific parameters, odor
investigations and assessments, HVAC assessments, post-fire air
quality testing, risk assessment and evaluation for a variety of
workplace contaminants, mould investigations and sampling and
the generation of technical reports for field investigations and
sampling results. The successful candidate will be expected to
have strong inter-personal skills and have the ability to
liaison with clients on a daily basis. Some evening and weekend
work will be required.
Qualifications and Experience
The desirable candidate will have a diploma/certificate in
occupational health and safety or a bachelors degree in a
related field from a recognized educational institution with a
minimum of two years experience providing occupational health
and safety related service in the consulting industry. A desire
to achieve the Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) and
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designations would be
considered an asset.

Occupational Health & Safety Technician (June 2004)
Reporting to our Senior Project Managers, the successful
candidate will be responsible for providing asbestos, hazardous
building materials and mould contamination related inspection
and testing services during remediation projects.
Typical service work will include conducting inspections during
remediation of asbestos/mould hazards, conducting air testing to
ensure all engineering controls are affective, liaison with
clients and remediation contractors, generation of technical
reports and the ability to trouble-shoot during remediation
projects The successful candidate will be expected to have
strong inter-personal skills and have the ability to assess and
provide independent decisions to remediation contractors during
unforeseen circumstances on projects in the field. Evening and
weekend work will be required on a regular basis.
Qualifications and Experience
The desirable candidate will have a diploma/certificate in
occupational health and safety in a related field from a
recognized educational institution with a minimum of one year
experience providing occupational health and safety related
service in the consulting industry.
